Woke up a little late. Had and English muffin with peanut butter as I drove over.

First out of the water and first overall? I have no idea where that came from. I probably went out too hard, but it was an awesome feeling to be leading the race for a while.

Hold back a little. Going out too strong hurt my bike.

I did 27 miles of hill work yesterday (including Minor Hill). That more or less fried my legs and cost me 2-3 mph.

The bike ride yesterday showed on the run today. It was a long slog, and I lost any shot of a medal through here. Decent kick for the last mile though.
