Comments: That running start is just brutal. I was being beaten to death and actually had my first I am going to die freak out since this race last year. I quickly reminded my self to quit whining and just get in rhythm.Did good after that but I know the flip out cost me time because I really felt good in the water after that and was passing alot of same colored hats. What would you do differently?: Do not freak out Transition 1
Comments: Just could not get out of my suit for some reason. Usually get most of it off before I even get to the bike?? What would you do differently?: Practice transition Bike
Comments: Felt good on the bike need to drink more, I feel sure that contributed to my issues 2 weeks ago. Love that bike ride I think I could improve on my time. Like always hills kill me What would you do differently?: Say it with me not be FAT!!!! Transition 2
Comments: Could not get tongue of shoe out so I just took off and puled at it on the course til I got it out What would you do differently?: Practice transitions Run
Comments: Felt good on the run, forgot how tough the 1st 1.5 is just about all up hill. Does make for a pretty good last half though, got passed by several MC's wish I could just get faster on the run What would you do differently?: Be tall and skinny and run like the wind. Post race
Warm down: Hung out with my daughter got some water and some food. What limited your ability to perform faster: weight and training Event comments: Like this race alot of people from the Roanoke area so you see alot of familiar faces Last updated: 2010-03-08 12:00 AM
