Swim
  • 31m 10s
  • 1640 yards
  • 01m 54s / 100 yards
Comments:

Swam smoothly and with confidence. I was passed a lot it seems. I took it easy the first half, but then picked it up a bit during the second. Was unsure how fast to start off for fear of losing endurance, but stayed fine the whole distance.
What would you do differently?:

Pick it up a bit earlier.
Transition 1
  • 02m 20s
Comments:

Found my row easily, but could not find my bike. Searched for a while in order to find it. Had a baloon beside it to guide me, but still lost it.
What would you do differently?:

Have a balloon ties to my T area as well as chalk on my row.
Bike
  • 1h 18m 17s
  • 24.85 miles
  • 19.05 mile/hr
Comments:

Got into a good rythm about 1/4 the way in...felt good.
What would you do differently?:

Work on cadence more, use aerobars
Transition 2
  • 01m 49s
Run
  • 1h 06m 1s
  • 6.21 miles
  • 10m 38s  min/mile
Comments:

Wow, it was really hot and hilly! Had to walk a little at the top of the turn around hill, and as I drank at each aid station, but other than that ran the whole way. It was hard!
What would you do differently?:

Since it was so hot, I had to stop at each water station. Under better conditions, I wouldn't want to do that.
Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster:

Heat and hills

Event comments:

I loved it! Quite an accomplishment for me. :)
