Getting ready with my tri group. Some tears with M., some laughs with C., and found L. cause I was her swim angel.

I pretty much treaded water with a little bit of forward motion. I was a swim angel for one of my training buddies. I sang Jimmy Buffet songs and pointed out the cute lifeguards. She made it, it was worth it!

had to stop at the porta potty and pee AND did quite a few walking breaks, so overall happy with this PLUS I got to see almost all my buddies as there were a lot of out and back sections

Warm down:

hugged my group, drank some Hammer Recoverite (this stuff works) and hoped for some extra water somewhere. (1 bottle per racer only, you could buy more)

Event comments:

My friends and the improved course made this race great...the organization had a few bugs, but overall ran well.
