Kept a great pace after using mile one to warm up my muscles. Ran with my 20 ounce bottle full of G2. Wanted to hit under 8 minutes each mile and had no trouble doing so. Was happy :-)
What would you do differently?:
Maybe tried to finish all 20 ounces in my run bottle and get a refill.
Got a free massage while waiting for my friend to finish. Stretched and ate my bagel.
What limited your ability to perform faster:
Nothing today, all was good! Hit my goal with no issues or complaints :-)
Am so happy to have placed 36 out of 949 females :-) Makes me feel like an actual "runner".
Great race, lots of fun, all diffrent levels of athletes. Will do it again next year for sure!

Did some light running from the car to race site to warm up my body temp. Ate my oatmeal and sipped on G2.
Just the 1/2 mile jog from car to race start.
