Bike
Comments: Gave it all on the run; had a lot of trouble getting comfortable on the bike. I'm sure it had a lot to do with the weather and road conditions. I had a few slippery back wheel moments and slowed WAY down for cornering. I really had hope the first race on the new bike would have been faster but I had fun. Transition 2
Run
Comments: My toes went numb and frozen on the bike - took until the last 1/2 mile to feel them. Took a long time to feel comfortable and by that time it was over!! It's great to finish near the end - lots of paparazzi and fans to cheer you across the finish line :) xoxo Post race
Warm down: Mix1 protein shake and rolled the stick over my legs and butt - both were pretty spent. Hung out with the other Zoom teammates and celebrated Whitney's AG win. Event comments: The one thing I noticed is that there were no mile markers - just a funny difference from the FIRM Racing team. Last updated: 2010-04-13 12:00 AM

Snoozed a bit after the alarm went off. Up and out after packing everything in the closet - who knows what to wear on cold rainy days. We swung thru DD & Starbucks for coffee and a bagel.
Met up with the Zoom Multisport team. Set up transition; went for a quick jog to the port-o-potty with no line! (it's something i remembered from the last time i did this race) Tried to stay warm and dry.
