Pre-race routine:

Got to race site at 6 a.m. Picked up packet and set up transition. Stood around a lot waiting for body marking to begin at 7.

Time might not reflect it but this was the best open-water swim I've ever done. I was comfortable the whole time and navigated well.

Couldn't rack my bike because the two guys on the other side had racked their bikes over my area. I ended up having to hook one of my brake levers around the bar and leave it hanging that way. That took at least 30 seconds if not more.
What would you do differently?:

Shoot the guys who didn't rack their bikes correctly??
