Best conditions ever in this race. I swam a good course and breathed well but I felt slow and the clock agreed.

First full race since this race last year and also first race with the Garmin Watch. Not really bad but seemed slow.
What would you do differently?:

Gotta figure out how to put on watch and hit button go.

Pretty good ride, beat last year and pushed hard. Passed about 80 bikes, got passed by 6. Bridge was a challenge both ways.

get rid of 20lbs.

I was slow as expected. good news was that ankle did fine, bad news was my engine was not strong. Ran consistent but never was able to push it.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

20 pounds and being undertrained. Ankle did great today. hope i can get back to running more. I did the run in 35 minutes back in 2007 and bike has been over 21 before. Get off my manatee butt.
