Ride was great. There were ssome crosswinds and tailwinds that had me shaking at times. I am a very green biker so I feel good about how i handled the race and winds along with passing people. I found this ride very fun!
What would you do differently?:

become a better biker and hammer it without fear.

First transition ever so was a little intimidated at first but it all came natural and I did all action and no time wasted. Shoe change was the only dwnfall

Need to go all out pain, rubbing, heat, whatever. Feel the pain and not wimp out !

Warm down:

Found hubby and gave him huge hug!! Sat and drank 4 beers to celebrate. Never turned on my watch/gps but I knew I did great and felt awesome! So beers were welcomed

Course: Ran through Moody Gardens sidewalks and roads. Some sharp turns. Felt so good. Had more in the tank. Passed up so many people, that alone felt amazing. I have NEVER had such a great 5k!! PR'd. I feel that the adrenaline that was left fom the swim anticipation had me going like never before. Even stopped once to fix ankle strap that was rubbing my skin.
