Got up at 4:15, had some tea and few handfulls of cereal. Not much else really.

Comments:

Did this last year when it was cooler, trained smarter this year, especially with hot weather training and hill work. Really had to pay attention to my body and stay cool. It's a good course with just the right amount of challenges.
What would you do differently?:

Pray for rain?

Warm down:

had a piece of pizza, a real treat as it is not part of my regualr diet! Drank a bunch of cold drinks and walked around a bit.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

The hot weather.

Event comments:

Well organized and fun, great volunteers and lots of good food and treats at the end.
