Comments: good easy course. down hills not too bad. was a bit crowded though this was really a help to start at an easy pace and not go overboard! fun to run down Yonge street and see my neighbourhood What would you do differently?: 1. avoid the overtraining the weekend prior to the race (was unable to run all week - sore right knee) 2. avoid the pre-race debacle. 3. fuel belt instead of a hand carried bottle 4. train more ![]() Post race
Warm down: walking around the finish area, stretching, rehydrating, re-fueling. 10 k bike back home. epsom salts bath, 40 min power nap What limited your ability to perform faster: break in training the week prior. Event comments: the debacle with the shuttle buses at the start was a bit of a headache - had to grab a taxi to the starting line. not something I wanted to deal with! next year I wont be making the same mistake! good run...feel very happy with the result, the process, and the effort.
