Comments: i think it went smoothly for the first t1 that i have done.no mistakes. put shoes and socks on off of bike.ran bike to mounting area and away i went What would you do differently?: try to do it a little quicker Bike
Comments: good bike leg. hilly course but felt strong What would you do differently?: nothing Transition 2

Comments: leg cramps 5 minutes into run.both quads had to stop and strech then walk for a minute. Ok after that.ran the rest of the way with no cramping. felt slow and lathargic for most of the run. What would you do differently?: more brick work in training. i didn't do much and i think that it had a big impact with my legs cramping Post race
Warm down: ate watermelon,drank water g aid. went for swim in the lake post race lunch What limited your ability to perform faster: first race ever, didn't have experince with pacing. 12 week program for 1/2 iron, if i started earlier with a longer program i would have been better conditioned Event comments: my first race, so tuff to compare to. i heard that this race is one of the hardest to do but i felt good.
