great breathing, freestyle entire way (first time). Took over a minute to run up hill to transition.

one-piece tri suit helped speed up transition. Took wetsuit off on the beach, so slowed my swim time down, helped my transition time.

didn't know it was a trail run. I paced very well, just really slow. Couldn't find flat area to pick up speed. Didn't walk until very last hill (too steep)

not wear Newtons on the trail.
