Run
Comments: Felt great...a little surprised how high my HR got right out of the gate, but once it hit 160, it kinda stayed there or dropped a couple beats on the downhills. GU at 5, 10, 15, 20 with water and Gatorade switch off at at e/o station. What would you do differently?: Get a Garmin that works for starters...I realized after the first mile that my pace was useless to watch, so I went off of the mile markers and my overall time to determine pace. Ideally I would like to hold 6.42-6.45 for the first 30, then I could get 7.10-7.20 for the last 6 and still be in teh running for a sub 3. Post race
Warm down: pretty stiff. talked to the Prevea crew, Phil, Gorder. Massage tent line was too long. fluids, food, then went back for a bloody mary and a brat before watching Tanya, Jake, and my beutiful wife Sara finish the full. What limited your ability to perform faster: two blood blisters and a black toe nail. Stomach cramp out of nowhere at mile 25...that really slowed my down, up until then i hadn't been passed for about 15-20 miles. Event comments: Props again to Sean Ryan and his team for making this another memorable weekend. I will definately be back to run this race again. I miss the half, maybe next year that will be the race for me. Last updated: 2010-05-17 12:00 AM

up at 5:30, banana, toast with PB, juice then the normal BM.
sara had her friend Shanon, one of her friends, and my bro join us at 6:05 for the ride to Lambeau. Perfect morning.
Body Glide, GU's to the shorts, bag packed, should be a great day.
Headed to the start line about 6:45 for some stride outs. Did about 2-3 trips down to Lombardi and back after taking a final wiz between a few SUV's in the parking lot.
