Swim
Comments: I was a little nervous about the distance but I was actually very comfortable the entire swim. Didn't tire as I thought I would, I felt pretty strong all the way. What would you do differently?: Keep training, get faster. Transition 1
Comments: For some reason i had a very difficult time unzipping the suit after the swim. I kept pulling the string and it wouldn't budge. I finally go it down and it went good after that. What would you do differently?: i guess practice unzipping my suit Bike
Comments: This course was tough for me. Hilly b'otch! I liked the challenge though. It definitely made me realize I want/need to train more on hills. I started to slightly cramp on both calfs in the middle of the ride. I would start to feel the cramp coming so I'd ease off on my stroke. Got me worried for the run but miraculously it went away after a couple of minutes What would you do differently?: Get better at riding hills. I think the cramps are due to bad nutrition and no stretching Transition 2
Comments: felt good on coming into T2 What would you do differently?: nada Run
Comments: Starting off I felt those cramps wanting to bother me again, i just ignored them and after 5 minutes I felt 100%. The run was great, I felt I could've pushed myself a little more for the run. Next time! What would you do differently?: Keep training. Post race
Warm down: Met up with Jenny and had some bojangles biscuits and a bagel. What limited your ability to perform faster: lack of training Event comments: Awesome race setup by FS Series. Last updated: 2010-05-22 12:00 AM
