Pre-race routine:

Woke up @ 3:30 AM had the usual breakfast down by 4:00 woke up the littles poured some coffee hit the rode by 4:45 Got car parked unloaded filled water bottles wlked down and set up transition
Event warmup:

Took a 15 minute casual swim walked around Then after standing around for over a hour I found my family and scored a Cliff Bar and Some Water took another very short swim

Very nice swim Loved the Time Trial Start it made spacing and navigating through slow swimmers much easier. Based on the Course Layout I was comfortable taking an outside line however on the final stretch I got a little to comfortable and found myself swimming off course.
What would you do differently?:

I lost my cap and goggles out of my wet suit sleeve. So I guess make sure they are secure. I also think I can run Harder out of the water if I focus on it, in looking at photos I always seem to have my gear off and suit down before I get out of the water

Overall it was a good ride. However I dropped my chain on the last hill I had to dismount to put it back on which took time but the worst was trying to start back up on the hill. Today was my first race with an Areo Helmet I turned in the same AVG speed as last week with the chain mishap so I guess there was some improvement. The only bike I got passed by were running Discs so I ordered Covers (can't afford the real thing just yet) Hope to get to better than 22mph AVG
What would you do differently?:

Be careful shifting. Wheel Covers I also put in no bike miles the week before, and I had the week off from teaching Spin class so I was TIGHT.

Warm down:

Hung around talked to some of the guys I met pre race Chilled and Chowed found out I had FREE food and Beverage Tickets that I left in the car Grabbed a beer and A Chicken Sandwich went home

I can't run

Even though I didn't perform like I should have this is on the must do list for races Next year the family and I will stay at the resort.

Course: This was the hardest course I have raced I think in part because I didn't pre-ride it Then I made the mistake of listening to some Newbies talk about how many BIG hills there were turns out they were right there were some tough climbs
