  • Comments: MUST change the bike mount/dismount area AWAY from the curb! racers coming and going were all trying to use the same 5ft(?) wide wheel chair ramp. That was bad and scary. One accident and several close calls. Need more volunteers at bike out/in to yell "SLOW DOWN" & "DISMOUNT"!

  • Comments: I really like the EL race. He actually got he race started on time. It is a tough course that is well marked and patrolled. It was kept safe and efficient. Unfortunately, they had to weed thru the results and that postponed the celebration til 2 pm. I would have liked to have been home by then, BUT I wil take a well run race with some delays over a crappy one that is rushed.

  • Comments: Was a nicely run race. Wish T1 could have been set up a little better and the exhaust of the boats wasn't so strong. Also started a little late.

  • Comments: people kept saying the course has changed and is more challenging then years past. hills were killer! I need to just be proud of my first OLY finish and set goals from this day forward. don't think i'll do another race alone - i was lonesome for my family.

  • Comments: Race was very well run and organized. We were a little late getting started but that wasn't a huge deal. The distance from swim to transition and also from T2 to the run were very very long. A good race but the only way I'd be back was if I was doing specific hill training.

  • Comments: Jeff Grady does a really nice job with this race. Tough course, great post event activities and really, organized. Just have to work on the Transition set-up.

  • Comments: This was by far the best race I ihave ever been in. The course was really challenging and the organization was fantastic. Started getting update emails from the RD months in advance of the race with recommendations on places to stay, course commentary, etc. Really hope to do this one again.

  • Comments: Awards ceremony ran two hours long. Not too bad, other than that. Very technical and hilly bike. This is a tough race if you're not ready for lots and lots of hills. The only flat spot on the race course is the swim.

  • Comments: There are a lot of things I like about this race. Lake is gorgeous. Resort is awesome. I don't mind riding through Road America but 4X? It's dangerous I'm OK with hard but it's just a bit over the top in terms of being so different than what we can really train for.

  • Comments: BTW- I WON CLYDESDALES!!!!!!!! I love this course, I actually get to train on it weekly. This race and RDs put on one of the best races. I really enjoy it and plan on doing this every year, rain or sun or snow!!! just not inlightning - sorry I am not totally insane

  • Comments: Run course did not have any mile markers and volunteers did not know how far onto the course they were. Elkhart Lake is great for the swim and the Osthoff is a beautiful resort. Great seeing everyone and meeting some new BT'ers. Donkeys definately had critical mass at this event. Congrats to TriDDS for the Clyde victory! Overall, very fun race. Fun to put faces with screen names from BT.
