Comments:

Hard finding my legs to start. A lot of walkers on the path. Did more walking than I wanted.
What would you do differently?:

Keep a good pace and get by the walkers.

Walking to find the bus to get back to my car.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I trained frequently but was not really doing much by way of increasing intensity with my workouts. Swimming was limited for me, no place to really train in open water with a partner.

Event comments:

This was my first triathlon so I don't have anything to compare it to. I will have to say that retrieving my bike from the site was painful due to the lack of parking and the small residential community we were in. It took an hour and a half to get back to my car and drive back to race then find a way to get my bike. That was the worst part ever.I am hoping future triathlons have a better way of organizing that.
