Woke up super early to get to the marina by 5:15 which was a little rough but it was nice to have some time before the race to relax a bit.

mount line was blocked by a wall of people not moving, but that was out of my control.

First flat tire!!! Super nice guy (bib 541) stopped to help me out and gave me a tire and pump. Took a couple minutes (I estimate 5-10) but not really sure. Thanks very much sir (after the race I hunted down the race director to let him know, so hopefully he gets something for his kindness)! Bike course was hillier and a bit tougher than I expected, but felt ok.
What would you do differently?:

Not get a flat :(

Felt great, pushed hard. My time doesn't reflect on how it felt but maybe the course was a little harder or longer than the other races i've done.

Warm down:

Walk around a lot eating and drinking. Pizza was awesome.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Flat tire sure didn't help...
