Personal worst swim. - I didn't pace well, I wasn't breathing well.
Felt completely shot before even getting to the first bouy.
I got in peoples way when I pulled over to tread and try and catch my breath..
Along with having issues with my eyes, was also having issues with my goggles - anti-fog coating was all gummed up.
What would you do differently?:

Start SLOW and steady, and build speed.. NOT try to sprint and then recover... THAT didn't work.
NEED TO stay calm and PAce..

was slow out of the water,
Ear plug got stuck in right ear,
struggled with new bike helmet straps,
and took two blocks and multiple attempts to get feet into shoes.

What would you do differently?:

I just need to swim more. Practice transitions, and endurance..
I did well adapting when things went wrong.

adjust my seat. having numbness issues that were not a problem before.

Took some time to grab a gel and pour water on my head. forgot to grab GPS watch..

Shoes were a bit too tight - Run more without socks.

Had a hard time keeping up speed and endurance. For me, it wasn't bad.. could have been much better.

What would you do differently?:

Practice more runs at higher pace.
