Comments: An OK race at a different distance. Some pacing required not quite like an Oly but not as tough to get ready for as a HIM. Overall a fun race & close enough to drive over on race day. A good alternative to Chisago. I was the fastest guy age 45+ in the small field. Does this count for multiple AG wins? M45-49, M50-54, M55-59?

Comments: Lot of time passed before the awards and almost everyone was gone. Some of that had to do with the weather too.

Comments: Another aid station on the run would be nice. It was pretty hot out there. Props to them for having cool water! Even that late in the race, the water was cool. One complaint... On a two lap run course, it would be a great idea to have a timing mat to catch the cheaters who don't run both laps. Looking at the results, it's obvious that some folks only ran around the lake once. There's no excuse for not knowing the course; it was in the email and Mark went over it before the race started. There were signs and lots of volunteers too. In short, those people suck. Those are the people that need to get stung on the azz by a bee, not me.

Comments: I actually really liked the race itself. I think Final Stretch does a great job and takes the race very seriously, even if it's not a USAT event. The volunteers were spectacularly friendly, despite the long hot day. I even got cold water until the very end! Final stretch also is very generous with door prizes and gifts to the AG winners. I received a very cute stainless water bottle that said "Congratulations" with the Final Stretch logo, for my 2nd place.

Comments: Super race! Nothing more to say. Waseca will be penciled in with HOLT as soon as I buy a 2010 calendar. Thanks Bill and Wendy!
