ING New York City Marathon - RunMarathon

Never again will I promise to stay with someone for an entire race! My friend has never traveled without her father and is 36 year old teacher. When we both made it into the lottery and nobody else from our town did I told her i would stick with her the entire race. She has done marathons in the past and actually in 5-5:30 hours but she is doesnt eat! Literally doesnt eat and is aware of her anorexia but still doesnt do anything about it. She did not train for this race and at just a .25 mile into it she had to start walking! It was miserable. I couldnt get her to run block to block. WIth my knee injuries this hurt much worse then running ever has. I told her during training I would go slow since my knee issues but also told her I dont want to be any slower then 6 hours. This turned into almost 7 and a half! UGGGGG
