What limited your ability to perform faster:

I felt really sluggish today and could not get any power into the legs. I really dogged it on the bike. I pushed hard on the run with a faster pace on the back half but never felt like I was getting the power out but only ended with a 8:00 pace.

This of course on a day when the big guns out of Bellingham showed up to race.

Event comments:

great local race in a nice setting. The transition out of the swim was nice although the transition area was too crowded
