Comments: This was my first full outdoor triathlon and while the time was not that great, I was very happy to get through my first OWS event, with a longish bike and run for a sprint tri.

Comments: This is hands down our favorite race! Both boys did great in their races. They were 10 minutes faster than last year. This is my 5th year of doing the Clear Lake tri and I have been happy to continually improve.

Comments: This is my favorite race. It is low key with good competition. It is great to come back year after year and see continued improvement. THey do a grat kids tri which is so fun. Both of my boys did it this year and smiled the whole time. My plan is to really focus on the swim for the next year and make it in the top 3 next year.

Comments: This was my 3rd year at Clear Lake. I was 22nd, 14th and now 8th. It is fun to come back and see how my fitness continues to improve. This is our favorite race ever. The park is nice for the kids. They also do a kids tri after the race. My 6 year old son raced in it today. We had a great time together! Big prope to Skagit County Parks and Rec for another job well done.

Comments: I checked "just right" on the course, because while it was challenging, I didn't think it was "too hard," because to me that meant I would have given up in the middle of it, and I did finish. I even beat the daughter of a friend of mine by over 15 minutes or so! I was disappointed that my chip failed to work. The thing bothered me during the swim--like it was too loose or something. Good that there was backup timers, though I can't quite believe their time on my run. The other disappointing thing is that my husband couldn't take any pictures, because neither one of thought to check the camera batteries and they were run down. :(

Comments: I think this is my new favorite race. The chip timing was a great addition this year. It is the least expensive race around and I like my tech t. The park makes it very family friendly. It was great to finally meet a fellow BT'er - snailfish. I'm sure more of you were there and I am sorry that I missed you. I'm sure we'll meet someday

Comments: This was a fun event and I only have one other tri to compare it to. The volunteers were nice and everything was well-organized. The setting is gorgeous and it's a very nice park. If I were to suggest changes it would be to have some patrolling of the roads (there were some REALLY fast drivers out there who were either oblivious to the race or perhaps wouldn't have minded taking a few of us out) and more water both on the run course and at the finish. Also the ability to register online would be handy rather than having to mail in the registration. It was fun, though, and a really great experience for me!

Comments: This race was awesome! I will be back next year. It was well organized and very fun. My family had a great time hanging out in the park watching the action. I was bummed out that we had to rush in and then rush right out. I wasn't able to met up with anyone from BT. Maybe next time. My goal was to finish in the 1:25 range so I was really happy with my finish time.

Comments: Brilliant race. Well organized, small, friendly and really well laid out. I give it 10/10. Will make this a regular yearly race as it's a great course and the people are so helpful and friendly it was a gorgeous, scenic place to race...can't beat the weather either! Just fantastic.

Comments: The volunteers were pretty friendly. I guess I was expecting more water stations on the run but that could just be me. I really enjoyed the small town and community feel of the race. People were friendly. Packet pick up was really smooth. I liked the after race nosh - watermelon, oranges, bananas and bagels. I didn't see water but had my own. The kids tri was awesome and it was great to see a couple of 14 - 16 yo's out on the course with the rest of us. A really great day and great first tri experience for me!

Comments: THIS RACE WAS AWESOME!!! The course was fun, it was well-organized, the weather was great, people were nice.
