Swim
Comments: The choppiness of the lake really threw me off. I was NOT expecting it at all. I grabbed the wrong pair of goggles so I couldn't sight as well as I would like to have. My performance was NOT was it should have been. I was really thinking I was going to be in the 35-37 range. I much admit I was a touch disappointed with myself. What would you do differently?: Continue training but make it harder, more consistent training. Transition 1
Comments: I could have been a little bit faster here. I also forgot to grab my gel for the bike but it didn't really hurt me that much. What would you do differently?: HTFU Bike
Transition 2
Comments: I was WAY too slow What would you do differently?: I took entirely too much time trying to clean off my feet before putting on my socks/shoes. Next time, I'm going to be of a priss! Run
Comments: Not sure what happened but I had some serious issues in the "man" department during the run. I felt good the entire run. My legs were with me and I didn't walk at all which felt great and is a first for me. Taking all of this into considerations, the pain that I felt in my "man parts" with every strike of the ground with my left foot was insane. Not sure what happened but I pray it never happens again. What would you do differently?: I think it's realistic for me to run in the 7's. I'm going to start putting in more mileage and try to make a goal of about the same pace, maybe a little faster, for B2B Half. Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: My crappy swim and the "man" pain I was suffering with during the run. Event comments: I'm very happy with my time considering this is my first Olympic. Its the first time I've gotten this long of a race in and I'm hapy with the performance. Things could have been beeter but i finished and it didn't kill me. I'm happy.
