Swim
Comments: I felt pretty good for this swim. I have worked hard all summer to be able to swim this without stopping and in the crawl position the whole time. I did that except for the time when my watch came off and I had to stuff it in my wetsuit sleeve. It would have been great if I could have remembered that when I took my wetsuit off. I swam right up to the finish and was rewarded about 10 yards from the ramp to get out by somebody doing the butterfly kick on my face. What would you do differently?: Not wear that watch, but since it's gone now I guess that won't be a problem. Transition 1
Comments: I really thought I did great for this transition especially with the wetsuit. What would you do differently?: Nothing Bike
Comments: I almost wipped out at the turn around. I also cramped again in my left hamstring. I need to get that figured out by next years races. Lastly I need a better bike. My shifters suck and they skip constantly when I climb. What would you do differently?: Go get my bike checked out before the race. I need to train more, but life hinders that some right now. Transition 2
Comments: Again I got things off and on quickly and my legs didn't feel to bad so I didn't have that stiff legged feeling What would you do differently?: Not much I felt like I did the best I could Run
Comments: I was really starting to feel the urge to piss at this point in the race. I had tried desperatly to piss in my wetsuit, but I couldn't and now I was regretting it. The last mile was terrible. I was really tired. What would you do differently?: Go pee before the race. Post race
Warm down: Walk around and get some warm clothes on. What limited your ability to perform faster: Not doing anything this week. Monday I rode a little, but I didn't get any SBR in this week and that really hurt me. I also hate staying in hotels. I constantly wake up and look at the clock because I'm paranoid I won't get up. Event comments: This was my last triathlon this year and I was ready for this one to be over. I did 5 triathlons this summer and I had a lot of fun doing them all, but this one was a little late for me. The weather and distance made me dread this one for some dumb reason. I like this race and if it doesn't conflict with next years race schedule I'll do it again. Last updated: 2010-07-22 12:00 AM

Not much I was cold. I rode my bike for a short time and then got my wetsuit on and waited for the start of the swim. I should have pissed.
