My first OWS, the start was horrible and I couldn't get my rythym with everyone around me, about a quarter way through I settled in and finished good.
What would you do differently?:

Practice open water more.

The transition was ok but it tokk me a few seconds to recover mentally from the swim since I wasn't prepared for the way I swam
