  • Comments: Well organized. I think they bill this as a beginner friendly race, and it was. In my rack was a retired lady who almost went swimming with her race number pinned on (she was cute, it was her first race and she had fun). At the other end of the rack was the guy who came in 2nd. but we all finished.

  • Comments: Mayo is a great course. The bike got really fast with the new pavement. FS Series does this race right! Even in the rain!

  • Comments: I loved this race, enjoyed camping the night before, enjoyed the diversity of the trail run and also the challenges of the weather. Hope I can do it again next year and knock some minutes off my time.

  • Comments: We made our own great post race activity. About 12 of us BTers met at Hog Heaven for a nice lunch and a great time getting to know each other in person. The run is hard, but it is the highlight of this race.

  • Comments: A very nice, small, intimate race. Transition area is a little screwy (it's on a hillside), and I wish they'd assign rack locations, as these free-for-alls get weird with everyone throwing their stuff around. Still, it worked out okay, and I got to race with all my BT buds!! Even got to help a couple of folks who haven't done many with some time-saving tips (tape those Gu packets to the top tube, pre-opened; grab and go!)

  • Comments: Great race for beginners and challenging enough for seasoned triathletes. Would have given the race a 4/5 if not for the long run and no mile markers on the trail.
