THis swim sucked. It was only 4' deep so a lot of people were walking getting in my way. Very frustrating. THe 100yrd run in the waist deep water didn't help either. I was slightly winded when I finally was deep enough to swim and once I hit that cold water my lungs just couldn't keep up.

Nothing, every thing was soaked from the rain so it was a mess. Not much you could do.

Great run. For the first time my legs didn't feel heavy off the bike. This was a great time for me on the run considering this ties my best 5k performance ever.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Goofy swim and bad transitions.

Event comments:

Good race. Might do it again next year. Swim is goofy but hey, what can you do. THe rain really made it tough but they still got us out and only a little late. Overall a fun race.
