Comments:

Everything was going well and I was with the pace group for 4:15 finish. Our pacer seemed to speed up a whole bunch on 38th street, probably about 7 or 8 miles in. Me and a bunch of others noticed the pace being picked up so we fell behind the core pace group about 150 meters. I still passed the 13.1 mile mark on time but I ended up running about a mile at I'm guessing around 9 minute pace. My IT band started to hurt. At the half way point, I had to change my gait and that made my achilles hurt. The pain really killed my time...and it was freezing.

Event comments:

The first aid station to had gels (mile 10?) was out. that was a let down.
