Pre-race routine:

First triathlon that my wife and I did. Got up and ate breakfast, went to the park.

Kind of overwhelming at first because it was my first Tri. but settled in after the first buoy. Would like increase my speed.

I would like to kick it in a little bit more towards the end of the swim.

Kind of disappointed with this portion. Running has been a strong point and I have been running 7.20 to 7.30 miles. Couldn't catch my wind and felt tired during the race.
What would you do differently?:

Keep training on transitioning from the bike to run and improve my run time.

Cooled down and waited for my wife to finish. She did great by the way, 1.29.57 was her time

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Feeling tired after biking going into the run.

Event comments:

For my first Tri. I was really pleased with my time and how the race went. Not really knowing what to expect I am happy and will continue to train to improve in all areas.
