since running is my worst of all 3 I was pretty satisfied that I wasn't reduced to a walk. Although my slow trot may have been the same speed as a walk I felt good about it.
What would you do differently?:

run more.

Warm down:

cooling tent was fabulous!

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I performed better than I thought so I am very satisfied. I was shooting for a 3:15 finish and finished in 3:06

Event comments:

I was looking forward to the chicken fingers, I guess I gotta finish faster to get them. Dale put on a great race this year. 2nd year doing Steelman (Sprint '09) and he's a very generous guy. I think 1000 athletes is the perfect amount of people for the venue. Had lots of fun with friends and family and look forward to doing the race again next year and getting to the chicken fingers.
