Swim
Comments: I need more swimming practice obviously. Biking and running is cake after this. What would you do differently?: Swim more! Transition 1
Comments: exhausted after the swim but a pretty good T1 time for me...getting the suit off my ankles was a battle. What would you do differently?: just need to tighten up T1 but my actions were consistent Bike
What would you do differently?: just get better and stronger to get a few less minutes of total bike time Transition 2
Comments: I was pretty tight (for me) in T2 What would you do differently?: nothing Run
Comments: ran with guu, didn't do enogh bricks leading up to the event but got my legs after mile 1 What would you do differently?: more bricks Post race
Warm down: grabbed a water, protein shake and headed home for football! What limited your ability to perform faster: much more swim practice, more bricks Event comments: Its my 3rd Tri, first ocean swim. Man I hate ocean swims, but I will get better! This is a great race, inexpensive compared to other sprints in the area. Last updated: 2010-08-25 12:00 AM

Up at 5am, milk blended with banana, strawberry and protein powder, Stretch, shower and off the Playa. Drizzle, dark and dreading large waves.
Rack bike...pretty tight grouping...not enough racks but I squeeze in by the fence and setup my bag against it out of everyone's way. Get timing chip, maerked, chat up my T neighbors. Suite juice the wetsuit and peal it on, more stretching and head to the water for a little warm up.
