Comments: Fun swim. First ocean swim, but enjoyed it. Goal was to maintain three stroke breathing and this worked well. The course was about 200 yds long according to RD, so I am happy with time considering I was holding back. What would you do differently?: Sight better and anticipate the current better. Transition 1

Comments: I was supposed to use HR and stay in zone 3, but my garmin was giving me bad info, so after 8 miles of taking it too easy I sped up and just went on perceived effort What would you do differently?: have a better HR monitor Transition 2

Comments: First time to finish strong at an international distance! I had a some left in the tank, but i am happy with my run. I was saving my legs for the bridge and there was only .2 miles left after it, so I wasn't comfortable picking up the pace until the bridge was done. What would you do differently?: Not stop to use the bathroom after the bike. Post race

Woke up at 4:15 and had my bagel and PB. Walked to transition and got set up. Stood around for a while and loaded on the boat. Seemed like we waited forever at the dock.
