Comments: 17,000 is a LOT of people to run with! Ran just over 2 miles before trotting through the 2nd water stop. ran another mile before i started the 4/1 (which was actually more like a :30 or:45 walk). I think we lost .4 of the run somewhere between mile 3 and mile 4 markers. What would you do differently?: I think the plan to run the first 20minutes or 2 miles was good. I don't know if it would make a difference if I did it, but maybe forcing myself to walk a bit longer may help recovery better. Post race
Warm down: Walk out of finish up hill to food booths at Long Center, sat down only long enough to peel a couple of bananas, then walked some more. What limited your ability to perform faster: I AM SLOW! Event comments: Really nothing special about the race experience. Finished standing up, so that was a good thing.
