Freestyle all the way and not quite last out. Went a bit wide in the middle, could probably have cut another 30s or so.
Just over a minute faster than last year on this course.
What would you do differently?:

The plan is to take a good 8 week block in my off season and work hard on my swim instead of ignoring it as usual. Swim faster!

Went ok, probably a bit slow getting my shoes on and stopped for water. Got stuck behind people in the tunnel running out which was frustrating.

Flew around, good bike. Overtook most of my age group.
Time includes T1 and T2
Nearly 4 mins faster than last year, probably due to quicker transition and knowing I can push myself as hard as I like and the run will feel the same whatever...plus I guess I'm fitter.
What would you do differently?:

Within the next 12 months I will have a beautiful new bike....

Felt slower than I would have liked. My back was very stiff coming off the bike and it took a lap to ease up. Would have liked 30-60s faster.
Still nearly 90s faster than same course last year.

Event comments:

I like this race and its 2 miles from my house. Plus I cut 6 minutes off my time this year. Next year I plan to podium in my age group :)
