  • Comments: this is my first Sprint distance at Luke Harrop! YAY! While the course was slightly different this year due to the increase in numbers it was still lots of fun! However the overnight racking announced AFTER I'd booked into this race meant accomodation as well and the cost has climbed... This may be my first and gold coast full distance sprint.

  • Comments: Of the 3 tri's I've done (I did this last year as well), it was the best! Perhaps knowing what to expect (to the degree that you can) helped. I also trained a lot better this year, and it showed in my 4:30 improvement. I was just outside my goal of 1:20:00, which can partly be attributed to the epic T1 run, and partly to me not quite going hard enough. Overall very happy and look forward to my first Oly distance at Mooloolaba in 3 weeks.
