Comments: ran with handheld water bottle with some Gatorade and one Hammer gel. good to have a drink when I wanted. aid stations every 2.5 miles or so and then the water and Electrolyte drink were in tiny amounts. Would not have wanted to do the full without carrying extra fuel and/or fluids What would you do differently?: could have pushed a little more but was sort of treating it as a long run. think i' did well on the hills: getting up them without getting too worn out. Warm down: bus drive back to main finish/start area near hotel. got a Chai. They didn't have anything with protein at the first half finish-unless you count Irish coffee, which I did not have. Event comments: well-run and organized but really lacking in aid stations and finish food and activities. Most 5ks I have done have more going on at the end than this did.
