Got a little bit of drafting after the first turn, sighting was a little off at first leg due to the sun. Didn't sight enough on the back leg.

be more aware of how often I need to sight

Darned suit keeps getting stuck on heels. Just STOMP on the suit! First race leaving shoes clipped in, felt good (except for pebbles on my feet). Had to get in the shoes quickly due to upcoming turn, not bad for my first race.
What would you do differently?:

Remember how to step on suit so heels don't get stuck.

Beautiful ride: 1-2 steep hills at first going out w/ gentle uphill grade, nice downhill grade on the way back (jam in aero).

I knew this would be a slow run due to cutback in training after my running injury (Morton's Neuroma). Felt weak, some stitches in my side (drank too much on the bike). Got through it.
