Comments: Too slow, put shoes on wrong feet. Spent time setting GPS. Just way to long What would you do differently?: Run with Bike, Have GPS on, know left from right. Remember this is a race. Bike
Comments: Strong head wing going out 20+MPH with Gusts. Past about 8 riders and was pasted by by 12-15. Last 4 miles went quite well with strong tail wing peek speed at about 22mph Transition 2
Comments: Took quick Drink and removed long sleeve shirt, much better than T1 Run

Breakfast at home: OJ English muffin with peanut butter
Banana and energy bar about 1:30 before my start time and drank 2 pints of additional H2O prior to race to hydrate. If I wasn't watching the starters I was in the bathroom, guess I was hydrated. Temperature in the 40s at start.
Just walked around and watch other starters
