Comments: The water was freezing. I didn't really like the time trial start. I felt like everyone was on top of each other. I did ok considering I didn't get any open water swims in. What would you do differently?: Swim more. Transition 1
Comments: This was the worst transition. My hands were so cold, I couldnt really use them to get my helmet on. My wetsuit got stuck on my timing chip, and my legs were shaking so bad I had a hard time clipping in. What would you do differently?: Who knows, just not this. Bike
Comments: I really need practice with shifting my gears. Also, I noticed after the race my front wheel was super loose. I dont know when this occured but it wasnt like that in the morning. Also, my water bottle cage was in the wrong spot and I couldnt get it out. Obvioulsy, I need to work on my bike handling skills as well. What would you do differently?: More practice on the actual bike not the trainer. Transition 2

Comments: I did better on the run then I thought. I have been running but I figured with all the hills, I wouldnt do that great. I improved my time from 2 years ago by 5 minutes. What would you do differently?: Just keep running more to increase my endurance and speed. Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: I was trying to pace myself on the bike so I could finish the run. I could have gone faster on the bike. Event comments: The race started a half-hour late which sucks cause it was soo cold standing out there waiting. I was expecting to do a lot worse cause I didnt feel prepared. Ate a PB&J, drove out to the lake, set up my transition. Went for a short jog, put on my wetsuit, got in line for the time-trial start.
