met with the peeps, played with rick's easy button, and danced with some martians.

Comments:

i ran with lisazapato trying to help her finish under 2:30...WE DID IT! i hope i didn't bug her too much but i employed the rick method of race entertainment...talk so much the other person can't think about the pain they are in:) i think it worked.
What would you do differently?:

nothing. I had a great time in the outdoors getting my grove on. giddyup.
Post race
Warm down:

walked up a monster hill to some poor post race refreshments, drove a martian to meet the gang, and headed to MCDONALDS!! i had a kids meal and received a BEAUTIFUL troll for my efforts:)

What limited your ability to perform faster:

the need to hang with my pals.

Event comments:

a fun race with great supporters, the martians were AWESOME.

Course: course was a closed road, that part was very nice, the road however was slanted one way or another the entire way and now my ankle is sooo pissed off.
