Run
Comments: Ran strong the whole race and felt very light and fast all the way up to Doomsday Hill. The hill took it out of me a little and I kind of cruise the last mile knowing I only needed an 8 minute mile to get my goal of a sub 50' race. What would you do differently?: Work on hill running a little more and try to maintain a faster pace up Doomsday and then push it harder into the finish. I think I could get into the second seed range with a sub 48' finish Post race
Warm down: Walked about a mile with some dynamic stretching. Got some fluids and then relaxed for family and friends to finish What limited your ability to perform faster: Lack of hill training Event comments: Bloomsday is a tradition and a must do race for any Northwesterner. Awesome crowds, great on course entertainment, and just a ton of fun. I would recommend it to anybody interested at all in running. Last updated: 2011-04-28 12:00 AM

Malt O Meal, Banana, and half a cinnamon roll for breakfast. Drank about 1 liter of Nuun before driving down to the race course.
Did about 10 minutes of dynamic stretching with a light jogging warmup. Spent the last 5 minutes up to race start doing some breathing exercises and relaxing my mind
