  • Comments: I give a four only because I didn't really like how many people were there, but its a personal thing. Next year if I do it I will make sure I start in an earlier wave so I can avoid more of the people walking.

  • Comments: This race is a classic and I loved finally getting to race it, even if it didn't go as planned. I think this is becoming an annual event. My wife had even signed up to walk, but that fell through when we needed to get home earlier and couldn't wait for her to finish.

  • Comments: Bloomsday is a tradition and a must do race for any Northwesterner. Awesome crowds, great on course entertainment, and just a ton of fun. I would recommend it to anybody interested at all in running.

  • Comments: This was a fun day, ran with my sister, she's my favorite training partner too. Beautiful day for a run, cold at the start but sunny. This is always a real pass-fest for me, I get to start with the real runners and I'm really not so it's always like the whole field is running away from me, I guess that's because they are!

  • Comments: Bloomsday is a fun event as long as you are able to get seeded up into a front group so that you dont have to deal with the thousand and thousands of walkers.

  • Comments: It was alot of fun running with so many people. The quiet, solitude of some of the races in Montana definitely has its own charm, but the energy of the crowd and spectators in a race this size is pretty cool too. There was lots of great entertainment along the course, bands, bellydancers, soloists, partyers, clowns, costumes, you name it! Saw one guy run by in a french maid outfit, he had great runner legs too! I slapped hands with some of the kids on the sides of the road, waved, told a girl happy birthday that was wearing a "I turned 14 today" shirt, and just generally had a great time. Plan to put this one on my schedule for next year and with my time for this year I automatically qualify for the yellow section next year. WOOOHOOO!!!!

  • Comments: This is such a fun run to do. There are tons of people (42K!) of all ages, shapes and abilities. They start us in waves which means there isn't as much congestion on the course (hooray!). There are tons of volunteers and everything seems very well organized. Kudos to the Bloomsday Road Runners Assn which puts it on every year.
