Woke up at 4:30- Out of hotel by 5:00- at race site by 5:30. Did not eat breakfast which contributed to my feeling sluggish most of the race as well as my upper respitory infection.

Event comments:

The race had to be changed to a Run Bike Run race due to weather. Wind contidions had 2-3 foot whitecaps on the lake. Disappointing. However the city put on a good show with plenty of officials on the course- Few participants were disappointing and the number of cheering people was pretty low.... the 70.3 was just a month prior to this event... maybe if the two were in the opposite order, more people could use the olympic as a training primer to the 70.3 and everyone would benefit.
