Ate a Clif bar and walked over to the start.

Comments:

All was fine until Mile 22. On pace for a sub four hour and then the wheels came off. Not sure what it was, but I was just out of gas. Started walking at that point. Was able to run the last mile, although pretty slow.
What would you do differently?:

Being my first ever marathon, I guess I'd better work on more training.

Warm down:

Walked around it what seemed like a daze. It was sprinkling and cold at that point. Free ice cream!

What limited your ability to perform faster:

It must be not enough training.

Event comments:

This was my first ever marathon so I wasn't sure what to expect. I thought it was very well run. Not much to do at the finish and the only swag was a pair of socks. Seems like they could come up with some better stuff. It was cold and wet at the end and I was totally spent so that probably taints my view of things.
