Comments: I wanted to improve over last year, which I did and I am happy about. I wanted to start off getting into a comfortable pace and glide with my strokes. Had a little congestion in the first few hundred meters, so I wasn't smooth. Then I drafted a little, but then about half way into lap 1, I spent the race of the race pretty much by myself. Only drafting a little as I was passing someone. I cruised thru lap 1. Looked at my watch at 28:14 at the half way point. Then I pushed more in lap 2, but I really didn't go much faster. Maybe I was more tired, buy I also had nonone to draft off of unlike in lap 1. But it seemed as though I put out more effort in lap 2 with minimal results. What would you do differently?: Nothing. Warm down: Food and drink at the finsh. I ate a sub and some chips and a diet coke. What limited your ability to perform faster: Nothing. Event comments: Great parctice in open water locally. Which is all I am using this for. Cost is little much though. Last updated: 2011-05-30 12:00 AM

Coffee, 1/2 PB&J, orange. Sipped on some EFS and had a Salt Stick. It was getting hot out and the water was warm. I wanted to get the electrolytes in me.
Walked from South Lakes Village Center to the lake.
