Pre-race routine:

Woke up 3.5 hours before the race and ate a multi grain bagel with cream cheese and coffee.
Event warmup:

No warm-up, took a while to make my way to my corral, and there wasn't much room to do anything.

Comments:

Probably pushed a little too hard in the beginning. Hit a wall at mile 19 and struggled to mile 23; had some stomach issues as well. Finished strong with nothing left.
What would you do differently?:

Maybe a little slower start, but overall it was a good run.

Warm down:

Stretched out, put on compression, and walked around.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

The hills were tougher than I expected; wasn't really prepared for that.

Event comments:

This race has so much potential but I was very disappointed. Although they had a nice finisher shirt and Tiffany necklace, the event website, overall communication, and organization of this race was terrible! It seems like Nike needs a new race director with better management skills.
