Comments: I ran 10 ,lies the day before and I felt it here. It's hard to gauge the finish because there are trees and so you can't see the finish to the end. The last stretch by the rowing club on packed sand with tons of ruts which is a pain. Post race
Warm down: I wanted to jump in the ice bucket. But instead I took two handfuls of ice and put it in my tri shirt. What limited your ability to perform faster: I am training for a marathon so I did my long run the day before this affected my performance for sure. Also I need to get better sleep the night before. Lastly, the heat is a factor. There isn't anything to do about it but definitely it's tough. Event comments: Multirace puts on a great race! Last updated: 2011-07-17 12:00 AM

Up *early* breakfast, to the race, text the buddies, meet-up in parking lot, rack the bike, set up transition area. Go find swim start, find run route instead, then find swim start. Chill.
Swam in water a bit. Check sighting for first buoy.
