up at 3 am p butter ad toast. drive 1:45 to race show up at 5:10. get body marked set up transition and then go take some pics.

Comments:

first 3 miles hot and no wind direct sun. Stop at every aid station to get ice water and sponges. At mile 5 took one salt tablet. By mile 7 had to start taking more than one walk break every mile.
What would you do differently?:

Need to train more. So the run is better.

kiddy pool cold bath massage dinner and other snacks

What limited your ability to perform faster:

need to get a better run base heart rate was high 150 or in the 160 most of the race
